Canadian Francophonie Research Chair in Language Rights
The chair’s goal is to produce original research on the constitutional protection of the language rights of Francophone minority communities in Canada, and language planning issues in general. Using an innovative collaborative approach that combines theory, practice, community engagement and new technologies, the chair helps advance knowledge, promote critical examination and develop legal standards to foster linguistic security for official language minority and Indigenous communities.
