About the Office of the Vice-President, Research (OVPR)

The Office of the Vice-President, Research sets the strategic direction and oversees the administration of the many facets of the University of Ottawa’s research enterprise, including funding, equipment and facilities, international collaborations, partnerships and business development. Above all, its mission is to support researchers, in the spirit of equity, diversity and inclusion, as they apply their expertise, talent and imagination to build a better world.
