Consistent with the mandate of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ottawa Corporation (EIOC) for the development of high growth technology ventures within the region and the mission of University of Ottawa’s Innovation Support Services (ISS) to support innovation “from knowledge creation to value creation”, the EIOC Research Ventures Entrepreneurship Fund has been established to maintain the legacy of EIOC and to support innovation and technology development from research. EIOC has generously granted $75,000 to ISS. This will, among others, help to relaunch the BioEntrepreneurship Workshop series as well as provide funding for the best research ventures of the Startup Garage program.
